H.E the Minister of State for Interior Affairs Abdulla bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al Thani honored supervisors of summer activities for MoI officers’ children in a function held at Qatar Police Sports Federation (QPSF) headquarters on Tuesday 10/8/2010.

The QPSF Deputy Chairman Brig. Abdulla Saa’d Al Sulaiti, Col. Mohammed Ateeq Al Kuwari, Lt. Col. Adil and a number of MoI officers were present at the ceremony.

H.E. the minister expressed his happiness over successful completion of summer activities, which were meant for officers’ children and held annually engaging their vacation time to burst out the best in them. “The MoI and the QPSF have commitment towards this age group and they are the leaders of tomorrow. Hence we are keen to see that they are getting all required skills, knowledge and educations values to raise them as good citizens” the Minister added. Concluding his speech he expressed his gratitude for all those who worked for summer activities and wished them the best.

The minister honored General Convener of the activities Lt. Col Adil Malallah, Assistant Convener Jasim Saleh Al Saai, Trainers Ali Al Buaynayn, Mohammed Eid Al Mansoori, Mohammed Al Yazidi, Yousuf Ashura, Mohammed Al Langawi from Qatar Television, Hayya Uwaidah Al Thani, Sara Salim Al Suwaidi, Naba Ali Al Haidoos, Dr. Iman Abdul Shafi, Inas Abdul Munim, Manar Ahmed Zaid and Khairiyyah Mohammed Al Essa a volunteer from Aspire Sports Academy.

The trainers said that they are excited at this honoring from the minister and it means for them the greatest appreciation from the QPSF while giving prime importance for summer activities.

They also affirmed that this time the program was more successful due to increase of sports activities by the QPSF which allowed all participants to take full advantage of their summer time and boost their knowledge in various fields such as sports, culture, science and education.

The honorees thanked the QPSF and its President Brig. Khalid bin Hamad Al Attiyah, for the great appreciation for them stressing that they are ready to spent all their time and effort in the various activities of the Federation.
