Coasts and Borders Security Department (CBSD) have seized a number of boats infiltrated into the economic waters of the state and carried out armed robbery on a number of fishing boats in economic waters of the country. CBSD patrols have arrested the accused and while searching the vessels they have found several bladed weapons, face masks and other tools. The accused along with seized items have been referred to concerned investigation authorities. During the legal procedures of identification, the victims who have been robbed could identify the culprits and the items robbed.

CBSD called upon the all sea goers and fishermen to strictly follow the security instructions of CBSD in relations sea cruise and fishing trips. CBSD also urged them to get in touch with them in case of emergency and to ensure that all necessary requirements are available in this regard.
