The First Batch Graduated from MoI Training Centre

Under the patronage and in the presence of H.E. the Minister of State for Interior Affairs Sheikh Abdullah Bin Nasser Bin Khalifa Al Thani, The Communications Department of the Ministry of Interior conducted the graduation ceremony of the first batch of graduates in CCNA course, who have completed theoretical and practical study at the Centre for Training and Development under the Department.

Director of the Communications Department Brig. Engineer Ali Salem Al Khanzab delivered the introduction speech welcoming H.E. the Minister of State for Interior Affairs Sheikh Abdullah Bin Nasser Bin Khalifa Al Thani, directors of various departments of the Ministry of Interior and the gathering including course attendants and lectures who were present at the ceremony.

He mentioned that the graduation of first batch of students in the filed of network engineering means a breakthrough for the Centre for Training and Development under the Department. It also represents an achievement for the ministry in bringing qualitative change in different aspects of its work. Although the Ministry possesses many advanced machines and equipments, we cannot make use of it unless we have appropriate human resource capable of using it in a proper and professional way and maintaining its continuity in the work, the Director added.

Considering this fact, Communication Department has established the Centre with the support of H.E. the Minister and today we are celebrating the graduation of 19 engineers who have completed CCNA couwithin a span of 6 months. Simultaneously, five engineers (4 out them are from Saudi Arabia) have graduated in Audio Networking course of CCVB which further elevates our happiness as we could achieve this within a short span of time although the centre is newly established.

He further clarified that the Center's educational and training services are not limited only for the cadres of the Ministry of Interior but it is ready to qualify cadres from the country and abroad in the field of communication engineering with its all specializations and the graduation of four Saudi engineers is a debut in this regard.

The course participants expressed their happiness over the course appraising the high level of competency from the part of faculty and high quality of training provided by the Centre. At the end of the ceremony, H.E the Minister awarded certificates for the graduates.
