The Police Training Institute (PTI) celebrated the convocation ceremony of the 59th and 60th basic courses on Sunday, 7/1/2010 at PTI premise. 100 trainees successfully completed the course, which, held at PTI during 6/9/2009 – 28/1/2009.

Brig. Muhammed Hasan Yousuf Al Sai, Director of PTI, Col. Ibraheem Ali Samrah , Head of police science section and a number of officers from the ministry attended the ceremony.

Talking in the function, Brig. Al sai said " The PTI is looking forward with big confidence and hope and that is why, we are continuously developing the educational and training programs in the institute. We have prepared an advanced program for this basic course as a part of our attempt to improve the police duty through "Comprehensive Police Program".

During the course, the trainees learned various subjects related with law, police, administration, operations, communications, civil defence, criminal investigation, internal security force, fir aid, public guard and traffic duties in addition to field trainings such as military and sports trainings, shooting and public lectures.

At the end of the program, Brig. Al Sai distributed certificates for the graduates.
